Evan Evagora, an Australian actor and model, makes his TV debut this month in Amazon’s Star Trek: Picard, in what looks to be a potential breakout year for the debutant.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, of both New Zealand and Cypriot heritage, in his childhood, Evagora followed in the sporting footsteps of his ex-boxer father, excelling in both boxing and Australian football, winning a state boxing championship during high school. However, after embarking on a gap year across Europe, he turned his pursuits to acting and modelling, where his looks made him a hit in his home country, appearing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. In March 2019, it was announced Evagora would star alongside Sir Patrick Stewert and Santiago Cabrera in the much-anticipated Star Trek: Picard series, cast in the mysterious role of Elnor. After making a high-profile debut on the small screen, Evagora will next be seen making his feature film debut in the Blumhouse-produced horror reimagining of Fantasy Island, set for release in March 2020.
